Amazing Jersey

Jersey may be a small island, only 45 square miles, but it sure is big on personality.

Being the most southerly island of the British Isles, 100 miles south of Britain but only 14 miles from France, it is unique in sharing influences from both. It has the best of olde English charm with a hint of French flavour and very proud of this mix.

There are a wealth of things to do in Jersey which really does belie its size, and a beauty which is stunning from every corner. The sea dominates any visit to the Island with award winning beaches, numerous cliff path walks, rocky coves and amazing tides (one of the highest tidal ranges in the world).

You will find there are plenty of activities in Jersey if you want to keep busy. Walking, cycling, shopping, watersports of every kind, or visiting some of the interesting museums, historic castles or sights that are uniquely Jersey.

There is a varied calendar of events throughout the year too – from the famous Battle of Flowers, walking weeks, music festivals, International Air Display, food festivals ….the list goes on, so always something to enjoy any time of year.

And Jersey really is foodie heaven with Restaurants, cafes and pubs galore and many highly award winning places and Chefs ready to tantalise your taste buds! Local produce is abundant and the quality of food on offer and the amount of places to eat is outstanding.

Jersey is also a great base to explore a little further afield, with day trips to France or the other Channel Islands Guernsey, Alderney, Sark or Herm easily arranged. All are real beauties and quite different to each other.
